Congrats to two Kennedy seniors, Audrey Ingraham and Malick Sogur, on earning Associates Degrees from Kirkwood this past weekend! Audrey studied Business Administration and Malick completed a science degree.
They completed their degrees through the Cedar Rapids Community School District's Dual Credit partnership with Kirkwood Community College while in high school, all at no cost to students or families. They saved upwards of $20,000 by completing these degrees in high school.
The credits students earn count toward both the student's Kennedy diploma and for Kirkwood as well, and are transferable to other colleges and universities! Although many Kennedy students earn credits through Kirkwood each year, it is rare for students to be able to complete a degree! Congratulations to these two remarkable students!
