Athletics

Kennedy High School students have 24 athletic teams to choose from. It’s a great day to be a Cougar!

Kennedy High School Bound

Kennedy High School manages all of its activities online through Bound. Use the link below to navigate through all of our athletic schedules, registration, camps, rosters, tickets, and more!

Cougar Student Activity Pass

Kennedy Student Activity Passes are sold online through Bound. This pass can only be purchased for current Kennedy students. The pass allows students to get into all home Kennedy athletic events, excluding IHSAA and IGHSAU post-season events hosted at Kennedy.

The regular Student Activity Pass is $60.00. For students on the free/reduced program, there is a separate Student Activity Pass in Bound titled “Student Activity https://www.gobound.com/ia/schools/crkennedy/ticketsPass – REDUCED” that is $20.00.

Families that are on a free/reduced program need to reapply for that assistance (Income Survey) each year. That application and verification are done through the parent portal of Infinite Campus and may take 3-5 business days to be verified. Once this process is completed, you will need to see the Kennedy Bookkeeper to get a passcode to use for purchasing the discounted Student Activity Pass.

To purchase a Student Activity Pass, you will need the Kennedy student’s ID number to verify. Each ID number is only valid for one purchase. This purchase gives you access to an electronic ticket. You can print the ticket/QR code to be scanned at each game or you can save the digital ticket to your phone’s wallet. For any questions regarding the purchase of the Student Activity Pass, please contact the Activities Office.

Kennedy All-Sports Pass

Kennedy All-Sports/Flex Passes are sold online through Bound. There are multiple options for the type of pass you can purchase. The “All-Sports Pass” gives you up to 4 tickets for every Jefferson home event for $235 total. There is also the option for a 20 Scan Flex Pass ($105) or a 10 Scan Flex Pass ($56). The Flex Passes are only good for 1 ticket at a time, but you can use multiple tickets at one event.

These passes allow for admission to athletic events hosted at Kennedy High School during the 2025-2026 school year (IHSAA/IGHSAU postseason events not included).

These passes DO NOT include a Student Activities Pass for your high school student. Additionally, they are NOT good at Kingston Stadium for sophomore/varsity or 9th grade/varsity football games. Discounted Kingston Punch Passes can be purchased separately, also in Bound. Please remember that Kingston passes purchased on the Kennedy Bound ticketing page allows the ticket revenue to stay with Kennedy.

Athletic Registration Information

Students interested in participating in a sport, including Dance and Cheer, must have their parents register them for the upcoming school year on Bound. Athletic registration for the 26-27 school year will open on July 1, 2026. Students are not eligible to participate in athletics until registered and cleared. Registrations are good for the current school year only.

Please note that in addition to registering on Bound, your student will also need a valid physical. You can get a physical from your primary healthcare provider, local clinics, or you can reach out to the Kennedy High School Clinic about opportunities to get a physical appointment at school. The ONLY physical form we accept is the “Medical Eligibility Form”. Do not send physicals with your student to school or mail them to our office, as everything is uploaded directly by the parent to Bound.
