Find your passion and get involved.  There are many sports, activities, and clubs for students to join! 

If you have an idea for a club all you need to do is find a staff member to be a sponsor, determine what the club is about, decide on meeting times, and submit an application for the club.  Click here for the form.

Best BuddiesMrs. ChihakThe Best Buddies Club is dedicated to making sure everyone has the opportunity to have a friend. Students with and without disabilities are paired and participate in activities to promote inclusion and develop friendships. The Best Buddies leadership group plans events each month to enhance these friendship opportunitiesMeets after school twice a month. Usually in the cafeteria. Bio ClubMr. Witmer Students interested in biology and biology fields are invited to join. There will be speakers and activities. In the past, the club has organized blood drives and visited a cadaver lab.Wednesday afterschool in room 205

Chess Club

Cougar Electric CarMr. WilsonDesign, build, and compete with single passenger electric cars. Must be enrolled in the course to participate. Meets during class time.
Dungeons & Dragons ClubMs. ReminiskeyThe group meets to play Dungeons & Dragons and to meet new people.Tuesdays from 3-4 pm. Meeting location will alternate weekly between room 210 and 212.
FCA-Fellowship of Christian AthletesMr. LeClere or Mrs. LeClereFellowship of Christian Athletes focuses on seeing the presence of God in our lives. While learning more about God’s impact we focus on discipleship to spread the teachings of Jesus.TBD

Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)Mrs. MillerFCCLA is a national organization for students in Family and Consumer Science education. Its goal is to help young people develop skills for life and careers. Room 51B
Gay-Straight AllianceMr. JoensGay-Straight Alliance is a club in which students may confide, learn, and share in LGBTQIA+ experiences. Joining GSA as a queer person or as an ally opens pathways, camaraderie, and exploration of queer culture and advocacy. Room 162
Japanese ClubMr. CarolinExplore aspects of Japanese culture like music, fashion, pop culture, and food. Students are also exposed to traditional culture in arts and crafts, tea ceremonies, and holidays. You do not have to be in Japanese to participate. Model UNMrs. Koch and Mrs. ZwanzigerLearn how the United Nations works, learn about diplomacy and international relations, and participate in simulations and conferences. Students will represent a country, organization, or person and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the globe. Thursdays 3-4 pm in room 175
Ping Pong ClubMr. JohnsonCome play ping pong afterschool. Paddles are provided or you can bring your own equipment.Tuesday after school in the hallway by room 212
Robotics Team (Cougarbots)Mrs. LangtonWe design, code, and drive a robot to compete in FTC challenges. We work as a team and practice engineering skills to meet the demands of the game. We also participate in fundraising and community outreach.Monday 3-4:30 and Thursday 3-4pm in room 64C

Students Against Human TraffickingMs. WoodhouseWorking together with “Chains Interrupted”, a local organization, we want to increase knowledge and raise awareness of human trafficking-to recognize the signs, how to respond appropriately, and work to prevent it in our school and community. Tuesday 3-3:45 in room 128
Trap ClubMrs. BattersonTrap Club is a spring season sport that competes in State sanctioned events. Students learn gun safety and education, sportsmanship, and team building. Organization and fundraising begins in the fall and a safety class and test, held in February, is required. Fall meetings are once a month.
Practices are Tuesday and Thursday, March through June at the Otter Creek Sportsman Club
