Kennedy Boys Soccer Parent Handbook
Reminder that high school varsity soccer is the equivalent of U-18 and U-19 club soccer. If the player want to be considered for a varsity position, it is important that they keep in mind the following guidelines:
Mile run in less that nine minutes
Push ups- 50 in one minute
Sit ups – 45 in one minute
40 yard Sprint – 5.1 seconds or lower
15 yard shuffle T drill – 9.5 seconds and below
Also of real importance is the ability to play the game at a higher level.
While Kennedy soccer welcomes all players and believes that the game is for everyone of all skills and ability levels, the above criteria may be used to help separate the players into the three teams of Varsity, Junior Varsity and Junior Varsity 2.
